“Ho bisogno di sentire qualcuno che mi dica che sto bene” is anoriginal dramaturgy by Maria Teresa Berardelli, performed in Romeat Teatro Basilica.The story is based on a reunion between four friends. Each of themhas dramatically changed since they last met. After living apart for ayear, they meet up for a dinner that progresses and loops indisorienting ways. Bouncing back and forth between ideal worlds,where everything seems possible, and a reality that is made ofmasks and silences. As the show unfolds, the distinction betweenthese two narrative planes blurs, merging into a new dimension.The music and sound design aimed to be a portal between theseintertwining worlds, articulating characters’ distortions and timenonlinearities.
